I will say that the setup was a little cumbersome to get right. And it can be a little tricky to get the sizing right on the labels. But the quality is really good and once I got the drivers and settings dialed in, it's just been a solid workhorse for my home business that just does occasional shipping. Print quality is great and I know it's just going to work.I was not able to use the ZPL (zebra) drivers and had to set up a different driver connection using something called EPL I think. It wasn't super straightforward to install and configure but I was also trying to set up a ZT231 at the same time that also gave me a bunch of fits. I was able to eventually get it sorted out though and really enjoy using it now.

Ordered this for my home side business. I have used Zebra printers for years at work and supported them as an IT professional. Very rarely do you see a Zebra printer just up and fail because of the device, normally it is a PEPCAK or someone damaged the device. This printer sets up in minutes and prints pretty quickly. I was able to use the Zebra software to configure the printer and get all of the settings I wanted with the CLI really fast. This printer is simply connected via a USB cable to your computer. I like the design on this printer and thought I would miss the clear window to see the paper spool but I don't.Overall, this printer works very well to print labels quickly and accurately.

I will give it good marks for label print quality because a lot of these thermal printers that you see don't have the greatest quality and when you're printing certain barcodes, that's a huge deal. I will say, though - they could have included a small sample roll of labels. I amd using this to print UPS/FedEx labels so I do have quite a few rolls, but having a sample to test would be nice. You can back feed this or put in a a roll. I connected this via USB to my desktop computer. The website you are directed to allows you to download software for your mobile phone, which I did but I could not get it to work because I realize that this does not support Bluetooth. There is only a USB connector on this but I've read folks say this can be connected via wifi or ethernet, and I have no idea how that is possible when there is only a single USB connector (and a printer USB type too). Therefore, I am not sure what the purpose of the mobile apps would be. How would you connect it to your phone? It is bulky as it's made so that you can put a roll of labels inside. I didn't necessary find it hard to set up, but I don't think it was also very intuitive either - you are given instructions to go to a URL, but you also have this USB flash drive with thet JetSet software to install. But the printing is where it counts and it's probably the best quality printing I have for thermal label printers that I have (I have 2 others, non-Zebra).

This Zebra ZD220 installed easily and it works great. Legendary Zebra quality is legendary for a reason. The included Jetset software seems quite useful, though my label needs have been simple so far, so I haven't needed to dig into it. It's good to know it's there, and I'm planning on designing some demo labels with it to get a better grasp of its capabilities for future use. It seems like it can do quite a bit.
