Great value, prints fast and allows for third party refills in compact size. Easy set up and lack of ink cartridges makes it great for ongoing, daily use. Honestly though, AirPrint for a label printer is the real star here!

I wanted to replace my older label printer with a wifi printer. This 820 model seemed to be the best fit. As others have stated the installation instructions could of been a little better. Once you got to the right location on the brother site, it was a breeze. I just googled the installation of the printer and found what I needed. The printer has been up and running for a few days. No complaints. Much faster than old printer, more options, and wifi connection. I would buy again.

The Mac P-Touch Editor software was last updated in 2018. Installation requires the "square" USB to USB cable. Modern machines with USB C connections require an adapter. And how may modern devices can only be set up via USB?The Quick Set-Up Guide is incomplete and confusing.But when it works, a really high quality label is printed.

Overall, it's easy and quick to setup. Pretty much works like a regular printer, but no ink and faster printing.There are some quirks, which I'll share below:1) It aways shows the wrong label size, regardless of what I put in, it shows PO1: 1.1" x 3.5" - obviously it should show what's in the printer automatically, without manual intervention. As long as I tell my documents setup what the actual size is, it works fine though. Update - the lack of auto recognition of the current label means that it won’t print from the brother label software even if your using a template that matches the current physical label size, because it thinks you’re not matching the label.2) There's no 2" x 2" (or 2" - 3.4" range) die cut label. It goes from 1.4" wide to 2.4" wide with nothing in between for die cut.3) Print quality is good, but not amazing. It's close to a inkjet than a laser printer, so don't expect perfectly fine lines. Fine for labels with fonts and basic graphics, but details are just so so.
