Unfortunately it was extremely large. I sent it back without using it. Ordered the 12 litre and I am happy with the size. The larger size would be great for large families.

This is a pretty straight forward product, and does exactly what is advertised. It's a nice big sous vide container that utilizes nearly 5 gallons of water. With the insulator over the container, it holds the heat well and even throughout. The racks are well made and certainly do their job of providing area between items for water to flow and an easy way to lift things in and out. I will say that using both racks and having 2 rows of large steaks gets tight (see picture), but overall this cook was still consistent.It works great! The only reason I gave it 4-stars instead of 5 is because it's nearly $150 for a plastic container, a couple metal racks, and a neoprine insulator. It's not a complicated design, and there are no moving parts. I'm probably missing something, but I just don't see what it is about this makes it so expensive.

This container is huge. I bought it to make sous vide ribs, it accommodate a large rack or ribs with no issue. It comes with 2 sets of wire racks that can be easily adjusted to different width to place different size steaks, etc. Also brings a neoprene sleeve that helps keeping the temperature stable. I know it is pricey, but it is very impressive and sturdy. I am seriously considering buying the smaller one as well.

I first bought the smaller size and then bought this one as well.When I buy groceries I cook everything at once and freeze it. The bigger size is ideal for this.For dinner I take one meat, two vegetables and one starch from the freezer and heat in in the small one to 115F.Now I don't have a lot of dishes every evening and the two plates and cutlery I just wash in the already heated water.Saves me a lot of time, effort, electricity and good for the planet.
