Why pay nearly $100 bucks for a tuba stand when a $30 drum throne works as well or better. The large pad makes it easy to adjust the placement of the tuba.The only problem I've had with it was that the bolts attaching the seat to the stand came loose, but that's an easy fix with a philips screwdriver.I had no use for the unfinished drum sticks, but so what? You might.As said in the title, it's an excellent bargain for a use the makers never intended it for.

I bought this for my 8 year old who is just learning drums. It was perfect for his height and weight, but it could handle my 200 lbs too. This is a great starter drum stool. It's designed so that a short person can still reach the floor and the kick pedal. It might be a little thin on cushioning for an adult, but it has plenty for an 80 lb. child and I didn't find it hard to sit on while just trying it out. It's heavy enough to stick to the floor, but also easy for a kid to move.

This stool has been very sturdy and adjusts to multiple sizes. My youngest son uses it as well as my husband and it has kept its cushion over time. It also came with extra drum sticks which is great, since my son’s first set broke.
