This RFID cat feeder is an absolute lifesaver for multi-cat households! It ensures that each of my cats gets their designated food without any stealing or overeating. The RFID collar sensor works flawlessly, quickly recognizing the right cat and opening the feeder just for them. The setup was simple, and the timer function is a great addition, allowing me to schedule meals with ease. The build quality is sturdy, and the feeder operates smoothly without any glitches. I love how it helps maintain a healthy diet for my cats while reducing food waste. The design is also sleek and doesn’t take up too much space. My picky eater finally gets to eat in peace, and I no longer have to worry about my more dominant cat taking all the food. If you have multiple cats with different dietary needs, this feeder is a must-have. Highly recommended!

I've had this feeder for almost a month I wanted to have it a while so I could give an accurate reviewCONS:Does not dispense foodNo app to conveniently feed your animalsDoors are a little slowThe chip readers can be a bit wonky but not bad enough to deter my cats from eating out of themIf your cats are upset by whisker fatigue this won't work for you doesn't bother my cats at all thoTo open the feeders you have to press and hold a unlock button then you can press the open door buttonIt's not hard just a little annoying but makes sense to keep your cat from accidently opening itI cannot use the schedule feeding setting sadlySay you set a feeding time for 3pm set a recording to play to call the kitties to thier feeders..it will open when the cat walks upBut if the doors accidently close (like I said it's a little wonky) like the cat looks away cuz he hears a noise or if your cat likes to use thier paw and pull kibble out to eat it off the floor and the doors close..they won't open again until the next scheduled feedingI had the door timer set for 10 minsThe timer is to close up the doors if they continuously eat so it will stop them from eating moreBut it still wouldn't open if the doors close even one min after they openThe only way I can make this feeder work is by using the free feed mode and giving my cats the daily amount of dry food they are able to have for the day2 of my 3 cats finish most of thier dry food by the middle of the dayI did look it up and from what I read it's fine to give them thier daily feeding once a day as long as it is the proper amount they should be eatingI give my cats a can of food in the morning and fill thier feeders with dry food about the same time then go to work come home and give them 1 more can of food before bed and it's been working out pretty goodI have 3 cats I got 1 feeder per catWe Just use them for dry food that way they can take thier time eating thier dry food throughout the day without my big orange cat stealing from other kittiesPROS:He has stuck his head in his brother's and stolen a little foodBut he hardly ever does it knowing he has his own feeder and doesn't like the doors cosing on his headIt doesn't hurt themFirst thing I did was stuck my finger in the doors as they were closing to be sure it wasn't going to hurt my babies and it's fine that's a good functionThey are durable and once closed will keep a determined big cat out! This was the biggest reason why I bought these needed something that could hold its own against my big orange catFor example..he broke a cat door I had cuz he wanted outIf he wants something he'll do it and he's VERY food motivatedI was worried cuz of the round shape of these but they haven't flipped or rolled he's scooted them across the floor but it never tipped they are durable! The chips aside from being a little wonky are holding up great! They DONT run off of batteriesThey have proven to be water proofThey've been submerged while my kitties drink from thier bowls and I have metal tags which bangs off of the chips and still work!I bought extra chips for back up and I could only buy 2 at a time which I found oddComes with plastic bowls I'm not a fan of plastic but I found perfect ceramic bowls to fit in themAlso kitty owners be aware! The collars that come with the feeders are NOT break away collars I suggest only using these collars under supervisionI used the collars to train my cats to not take off thier collars cuz they kept taking off the break away onesBut your kitties can get really hurt by using collars that don't break away so please keep an eye on your babies when using this collarAlso the updated version of the feeder doesn't come with kitty ears just a FYIBut overall a good durable feeder just keep real expectations may not be perfect but gets the job done!

This product needs to be reviwed. Not suitable for cats, at all. It was not sent with breakaway collar so if you are going to use it, please make sure you get one. It as it also has no safety sensor and is very narrow and will probably cause wisker fatigue. So, it is pretty much like sticking your head in a helmet. Cat is unable to see to the sides/ front so they are very reluctant to use the dish as it makes them very vulnerable. In order to stick your head in, that means often your collar goes in. Also impossible to clean. Once you get good between the dish (which does not come in/out easily) and the machine, you are not going to ever get out all out.Somehow my cat got caught in the machine because I woke up to a scream and the machine pulled to the end of its cord and upside down. I attempted to right it and then take the dish out. I opened the door and it closed on my hand, and did not let go. If that was a cats head, like if another cat or kitten snuck in while it was open, it could easily be strangled as that machine did NOT want to give me back my hand. I immediately stopped using it. The buttons and controls are also not very user friendly, they are hard to push, not reactive. The only pros I could find is that it is USB powered, so no bulky charger, and that it's refundable.

Owning multiple cats can be a real pain when it comes to feeding time. Especially for our veteran kitties. My old guy was aptly named “Rambo”. He was a feral cat that I caught, neutered and planned to let go but he took one look out of the door into the cold rain and ran back to his hidey hole behind the couch. He’s flighty and generally spends most of his life sleeping in his cozy house I bought him but after 10 years he’s still not interested in going outside. No problem.Except at feeding time.Rambo prefers flight over fight and one of my other cats, Bourne (see what I did there?) prefers fight over flight. Animals become what you name them, you know? So Rambo, just like his name sake, prefers to just give in and walk away when that’s a choice. Not good for an old cat that struggles to hold weight.“Put him in a different room”. You forget, Rambo has PTSD and a bit of schizophrenia, you corner him in a room and he will choose fight. I’d rather not have another repeat of that incident. Defending him myself at feeding time was getting us nowhere. Every time I stood up to chase the other cats off my Old Man would run for his safe spot. Feed him in his safe spot? Bourne would hop in there and corner him. Instant cat fight. All of this to say, Rambo was losing weight and I was getting worried. So I found this neat little contraption.Pulling it out of the box I was a bit worried at first. It was big and strange looking and I feared Rambo would be scared of it. It’s not instantly intuitive as far as set up but with the directions I had it set up to open to the chip in 2 minutes. I set it in Rambo’s regular eating spot and placed his old bowl directly in front of it. Getting the chip collar on Rambo was a small chore but that was a feral cat vs human who has fed him for 10 years type of battle. Once everything was in place, training began.Yes. He was terrified of it at first but after a few days he got used to the noise of the door opening every time he ate. I eventually placed a scoop of food inside the feeder and a bit less in his regular bowl at feeding time. He would eat out of his old bowl and then from the feeder after it had already opened. The real test came when we left for 3 days. I filled up the feeder, wished him luck and we left. Our human feeder dropped by and announced the food inside the auto feeder had been disturbed and he placed some extra in it just in case. When we got back the food was all gone. I filled it up right away and out waltzed the Old Man to immediately open his feeder and start eating. I was so excited. Bourne was much less excited because when he ran over to get some food Rambo walked away and the door closed. It worked perfectly. It’s been around two-ish months since I bought it and Rambo has already gained a healthy weight and a proud stalk when he gets to choose when to eat. I was able to switch him to a higher protein feed and he’s sleek and shiny. I’ve also noticed he’s become much more relaxed in general but especially about feeding time. No more scarfing down his meal as fast as possible before Bourne chases him away. The bowl is easy to remove and clean, filling it is no problem and the programming has stayed intact through a few unplugging incidents.Rambo is happy. I am happy. Bourne is not happy but his fat little belly can stand a little disappointment. This feeder was worth every penny spent. Now if I can just figure out how to get Rambo to stop opening the feeder for my Cattle Dog, John 117 (I have a trend with naming my animals you see), we’ll be in great shape.

I recently purchased this Cat Feeder for my cat, and it has been a game changer. The collar sensor is a brilliant feature it ensures each cat gets their designated meal without any dog or squirrels thiefs. Setting up the feeder was straightforward, and the customizable feeding modes are perfect for managing different schedules and dietary needs. The innovative design keeps food fresh and prevents messes, and I love the anti-pinch safety feature it gives me peace of mind, because i dont want my cat to get hurtThe dual power options are incredibly convenient, especially during power outages. Overall, this feeder is worth every penny for its functionality, ease of use, and thoughtful design. Highly recommend it for any pet owner, especially those with multiple cats! Make sure you have enough batteries!
