A few years ago I bought a rather splendid looking Ohana willow tenor ukulele, but wasn't really impressed by the factory fitted Aquila strings at all, the uke sounded dull and boomy and lacked 'life'.Fast forwards.. I've just bought and fitted these Aquila Lava strings, and what a difference! Sparkling trebles, no 'boomy' bass end and the overall EQ sounds balanced and brilliant. I WILL be upgrading all my zillions of other ukes with these lava strings. Highly recommended and at a reasonable price. :D

One my matte black carbon uke it looks so slick. They sound warm, loud, and they're comfortable on the fingers. I love them. The G string on my uke snapped but I think it was heat related or perhaps nicked when I clipped them but I immediately ordered another pack to supplement. The sound is wonderful and they settled in just a few days, even with the slightly uneven timing. They're slippery when new but so are all strings. I just love the black finish, they make my uke look goth and I approve of that.

Ich tauschte die Saiten bei meiner Tenor Ukulele aus, der Klang der neuen Saiten ist überwältigend. Sie ließen sich einfach aufziehen. Ich würde sie immer wieder kaufen.

J'adore ces cordes. Un son chaud et mélodieux. Elles fournissent assez de puissance. Une fois qu'elles "se sont faites", l'accord ne bouge presque plus. J'adopte

Il package è molto compatto, arrivato in anticipo di due giorni rispetto alla data minima prevista di arrivo (Royal Mail UK).Le corde sono impacchettate singolarmente con un bollino colorato per riconoscere a quale nota vanno accordare.Si tratta di corde per ukulele tenore Aquila SuperNylgut con una colorazione particolare: grigio scuro con un effetto leggermente perlato. Molto particolare con un contrasto col mio uke mogano bellissimo
