I think maybe for car travel these inflatable pillows could work. However, I found it not useful on a long plane ride. Due to the design of the seats on the plane, the pillow tilts the neck way too far forward. Even if it is less inflated. Unfortunately we have now have 2 of them. They do feel soft and are practical to carry on.

Designed by German engineers, this pillow has been ergonomically thought out. Your head doesn't get pushed forward and the sides keep you very comfortable, with a cord to cynch it into place. Indeed, you can wash the outer cover too! Don't let the fact you have to inflate it cause you concern. It is easy -- three full breaths at most -- and the valve, unless pushed to deflate it, keeps the air from escaping until full. The fact you don't have to wear around your neck or carry through the airport a heavy and bulky pillow when you can have this compact pillow to inflate when needed and deflate to store compactly in your luggage when done using it places this in the 10-star category.

We have a 19 hour each way trip coming and these seem like theywill be great. I like the H shape making the back of the neck area less bulky. Very soft surfaces. The built in hood is a great idea. We are looking forward to using them.

Super easy to pack & go. It inflates & deflates quickly. I like how you can inflate it to the firmness you want. It is somewhat comfortable, but seemed a bit big for me compared to the way it looked on my husband. It felt like my head was push forward & my cheeks up. But I used it for my 8+ hr flight & used it. The price seemed a little high for me, but it’s not too bad

This works so well! Used it on a cross country flight then a flight to Australia. Slept so good and arrived not jet lagged. Would 100% recommend! It would be a little better if the airline didn’t have the back headrest you can push up and down (used on delta) but with it pushed all the way up the pillow fit fairly flatly against the back.Super easy to inflate and loved how easy it was to let small bits of air out while wearing it to get the firmness just right.Woke up with no neck pain at all 🙌The only downside was that I couldn’t wear my noise canceling head phones with it because it comes up to high . But regular ear buds or earplugs worked great.Oh! And the hood!!! Amazing! Worked so well for wanting to sleep thru beverage service, reading lights and bright screens. And it wasn’t tight so super easy to breath while wearing and no head pain from a regular eye mask band. So comfy.In conclusion, best travel pillow I’ve ever tried and I have tried every other one for sale…not an exaggeration.
