I was getting rid of an old Olympus digital camera and needed to check the memory cards to make sure everything had already been downloaded. I couldn't get the battery to charge and was unable to access the photos from the camera itself. My computer only had an SD card reader, and Olympus uses the XD style (larger size, now mostly obsolete). I found this adapter and it did the job perfectly. It's a handy device and I can use it for other card sizes, too.

Product does not read memory stick (MS) or mini SD card. I got a second reader after I returned the first one, and it didn’t work either. My MS is not defective, as I have another reader that can read the same MS just fine. It was able to read a regular SD card, so that’s something good, I guess.
