No hay artículos en el carroThis bit has a cutting diameter of 1/2" and a cutting depth of 1/4". The bearing has a diameter of 5/8" which helps preserve the template. The shank diameter is 1/4". Especially designed for hinge mortising templates, this offset template trim bit will allow you to Route corners with radiuses as small as 1/4". The larger bearing distances the blade from the template, shielding it from any unwanted trimming. Offset flush trim router bits are used to get an even smaller corner radius than the shank bearing would normally allow. The cutting diameter is smaller than the bearing diameter and therefore some compensation is required when making your templates. These bits are commonly used for hinge mortising and small solid body guitar cavities. Flush trim template router bits work in your router table or handheld router. Secure your template to the top face of the work for handheld operations, or to the bottom face of the work when using a router table.

These are okay, but get dull fast. For the price though, you get what you pay for. Maybe good for a few projects, but don't plan on making a career out of it.

Bearing is not flush with cutters. The whole point of the bearing is to have the cutter telegraph off the reference surface, and this router bit has the bearing 1/8” proud of the cutters so you still have to chisel it flush after routering.And theres no way to adjust it.

I bought the Porter Cable Hinge cutting system and the router bit that came with it was dull after one door and did a terrible job cutting, but I really liked the template. This bit was a game changer and made the system so much more effective. I've cut four doors with it and its going through like butter and nice clean cuts.
