The 4-pack of bulbs was on sale for cheaper than a 2-pack, so I ordered it. The bulbs arrived promptly and undamaged, as they were well-packaged in bubble-wrap-type bags within a cardboard box. The bulb installed into the dryer socket with a hint of snugness, and lit up as soon as it was fully seated. The light output is noticeably less than the OEM bulb, but provides enough illumination to distinguish socks from undies. I have the three remaining bulbs, so I am set for the foreseeable future. As my eyes age, I may consider a brighter (but much more expensive) LED replacement bulb, but these will do for now. I will update on lifespan later.
