Lo puse en mi cocina nueva y me encantó ya no se genera tanta basura orgánica como antes. de un 100% solo genero 10%. (tipo el elote, huesos de res) Lo super recomiendo

The box already gave it away, it looked old and as if it had been opened before, looking inside the disposal confirmed the suspicion, the disposal had been used, there was food inside. Hope it was only for testing, could have been in use for a year also, who knows....

Lo instalé yo misma y es Super fácil de instalar (no tenía triturador antes), pedí éste de 1 hp para no tener que preocuparme por si se atora algo, y aunque no lo he probado con huesos de res, me parece que tiene buena potencia.Por la relación calidad-precio me parece que está perfecto. Creo que sí es un poco ruidoso, la verdad no tengo con qué compararlo, porque como decía, no tenía otro antes.Como es de alimentación continua, está la opción de comprar el botón aparte, pero para perforar mi cubierta sí iba a necesitar ayuda, entonces "mientras" lo tengo conectado con un enchufe inteligente, y le digo a Alexa cuando prenderlo y apagarlo.

this is a really good unit. it's quiet, powerful and installs easily.a word of advice: measure your existing hoses, attachments, diameters, lengths etc so you can purchase what you need before the item arrives. in our case, it turned out we needed to buy a universal dishwasher connector and a 5/8" barb (aka nipple) to attach the existing dishwasher hose to the disposal. the rep at HD mistakenly directed me to various other stores, not knowing they HAD the right pieces in stock all along (which was WACK). i was less than pleased heading back to pick up the pieces the rep should have directed me to the first time around grrrr but thats what you get at HD...heartbreak and broken promises lolanywho...once we had the right hardware on hand, the install itself took about 30min, even though i had to cut a bunch of existing piping..it's a pretty simple install, just do your homework up front. the unit also gives you some bragging rights once you finish the install cuz it looks that damn good. see the before/after pics for reference.so just buy it....i command you

Muy buena compra, es más grande que el anterior pero se compensa con la reducción de ruido y lo funcional que es, fue muy fácil de instalar reemplazando al anterior. Relación calidad-precio excelente

This was the first time I have purchased a Waste King unit and I am impressed with it, especially for the price. My last unit was an Insinkerator Evolution, which was also 1hp, but much much more expensive. This performs as well, at a much lower cost.Unit is a bit noisy when tackling large items, but noise level is acceptable. Casing is plastic, not metal but I do not see this being an issue, especially with the 20 year in home warranty.Installation was somewhat straightforward, the most time consuming part was changing plumbing and installing switch under the sink, but this is no fault of the manufacturer.Would purchase again, recommended especially at half the cost of the competition.

Si buscas un triturador de verdad, este es lo que debes comprar. 1 caballo de fuerza lleva todo. Huezos de pollo o costillas no hay problema. Pero ojo con excesso de arroz, cascaras de zanahoria o papa, aqui facil atora. Cuando lo tienes tiralo con calma y mucha agua para no destapar tu tuberia. Fuera de eso, nada de problemas con este monstro. Hay gente que reporten mucho ruido, pero que esperas de este triturador, que tiene el doble de tamaño de la mayoria de trituradores. Poder hace ruido y este compañero muele todo. Lo recomiendo mucho.

venia muy bien empaquetado, esta a un excelente precio ya que de 1 hp pueden llegar a ser muy carostiene mucha potencia no lo he probado con huesos ni cosas duras solo uso ligerono es ruidoso, la verdad viene muy bien aisalado, es un sonido de trabajo muy leve, se intala muy rapido trae todo lo necesario y es sencilloo hacerlo,el unico contra que le he encontrado es que no tiene boton para inicio hay que conectar y desconectar, lo solucionamos poniendole un apagador de pared conectado al tomacorriente para que encendiera y apagara como cuando prendes un foco

Pros: CheapEasy to installLots of powerCons: Not enough noise to scare the cats off the counter anymoreAfter moving out of an apartment with a disposal into a house that didn't have one, I really started to notice how much organic waste was thrown into the trash and since it was just two of us it would sit for a week for garbage day.I looked hard around at stores near by and at online reviews for them. They were all 300+ and didn't have as many good reviews as this one. I risked it and couldn't be happier.I received it in less than a day for a small fee(something like 5$ more). Ordered Monday and got it Tuesday around noon.The install was simple and the Easy Connector that was included was a breeze to put together. I do recommend doing what it says in the manual and put the whole system together outside of the sink.The power is amazing. It shreds everything. The only thing I haven't tried is banana peels which my old disposal had problems with.The noise level is on par with what you would expect from a 1hp motor. It was actually quieter than our old one but I'll chalk that up to the age of it. There is a slight "ting" sound if you turn the motor on with no waste down the drain. I assume it is from the actual moving bits inside hitting the stoppers, but if there is food it there you don't hear it.It's been install for about a month now and had no problems at all with it.Would defiantly recommend this one.
