Yall this is HUGE! We got a 6 person. I can stand inside it and I’m 5’2. My husband can lay in it with it zipped up & extra space and he’s 6ft. Definitely need 2 people to put it up. And it took about 20 mins for the first time putting it up. It compacts well and carries well. So excited to use it this summer! Awkward photos of me to help sizing 🤣

The set up is so easy, two tent poles through the top and then you just stake it to the ground. I really like the second set of tent stakes that twist into the ground for extra stability. The pockets on the outside we put big rocks in but you can use sand bags and probably get an even more stable effect from them. Keeps you protected from the sun all around and even from the wind. Hold up really well from the wind it barely moves. It looks nice set up, it’s basically a tent. Taking it down and folding it is easy. The only difficult part of this thing is trying to get it back into the bag it comes in.

This product was a great add to our beach vacation this summer. I purchased the 6-person tent and have a few thoughts.1) get 3 people to set up the unit! When you get one pole set, the others can pop out.2) watch the video, read the instructions, then watch the video again!3) the 6-person version is really only large enough for three adults to lay in. You could get 4-6 super skinny people to sit Indian style in there, but really, who’s doing that.4) put sand in the weight pockets asap!! It will help with set up.5) if rain is coming, take down the tent right away. If it gets water logged, the sand pockets and disassembly is beyond difficult! The tent made relaxing on a sun drenched beach so much better! I recommend this product.

Set up in our yard to ensure how it goes up before going to the beach. Went up fairly easy with 2 people. 3 is better. Poles are rediculously long. Make sure you have room to set it up. Went back in carry bag at home but you will not properly fit it back in the bag at the beach. Trust me, it won't happen. Bag is way too small and should be at least 1/2 size larger. Other than the bag being to small and poles being to long, this sun tent worked well and I'd recommend. This is the 5 -6 person tent but we had 3 adults in it and I feel a forth would really be crowded. Would be great for a small family of 4.

The overall design of this thing is great. It’s a nice size, provides plenty of shade, and seems durable enough to deal with windy days. But the poles are terrible! They are fiberglass which keeps giving me splinters in my hands when setting up and taking down. The ferrules on the ends that connect together constantly get hung up in the sleeves. The bungee inside is weak and the poles disconnect inside the sleeves when taking it down. This could be so much better with just slightly better poles. The worst thing is the bag. I’ve packed many tents in my life. Too many to count. The bag provided for this thing is half the size it needs to be. I’ll be replacing it with something else. It’s essentially impossible to reuse.
