Great sun protection for most if the day, color and fabric is durable. Just note all the sand bags must be HEAVY or else it will not work. This tent was turning heads. I received so many compliments. It was windy that day and the tent was holding strong. But I gave it 4 stars only because I feel like over time, the fabric isn't going to be as stretchy and the balls on the top of the post will rub a hole. I think having a pocket for the post would secure the post better in the front or make 18 ins of the fabric thicker in the front other than allowing gravity to secure the posts because the fabric is already stretched and now your putting additional stress from the post. I wish i took a picture to show why im making this comment, to show where the fabric is stretched the most is where the post goes and its white, nolonger black. I think over time a hole will form in the fabric, but for now, the contraption worked! I will continue to use the tent.

I have only had this neso for a month and only used it twice for about 6 hours and the screen printed logo is already coming off. The bags it comes with work great at a beach but I ordered the straps for when using it else ware and found them to have very little adjustability. I was able to make my own that work much better. No stitching is coming apart yet, but it shouldn’t for only a month old.

Tried the Neso beach tent four times in different locations and different conditions. It never worked well and and on three of the occasions it kept falling down. There are some key design issues:1. Does not work in changing wind direction. You set the tent up facing into the wind - but as soon as the wind changes direction it falls over. In all the videos you see they have a nice constant breeze from a single direction. If your beach is like that this then the Neso will work for you. Here in the northeast with changeable winds it doesn't stay up.2. Does not work well in shoreline winds: You have to set it up facing into the wind. if the wind is blowing along the coast, ie parallel to the shoreline, that means you have to set it up sideways. If you then want to sit facing the water, one person will have clearance while the other person will have the fabric hitting their head. Also half the beach is obscured by the tent itself so you are looking at a small potion of the sea.3. Poles get stuck: The aluminum fittings are tight and get stuck easily, especially with sand. Mine got so stuck i couldn't even fold it up anymore.Overall the Neso was a big disappointment. It's a bit of a production to set it all up, and then it keeps blowing down or bouncing around which is no fun. Even when it did stay up - it does not work like the videos, the front often blows under vs the lovely lifted look on the videos. Sometimes it works nicely for a few minutes then the wind would lull and it drops on your head. And then five minutes later the wind shifts completely and the whole thing comes down. Meanwhile you're providing endless entertainment to the rest of the beach with everyone laughing at you wondering why you don't just get an umbrella.

This beach tent is excellent. I am considering buying a second slightly larger one for when the family visits. However, for two adults and maybe some small children this is perfect for the beach.Light to carry and easy to set up, providing excellent shade form the sun and to a degree - wind.At first use on a breezy North Cornwall beach my wife watched me set up expecting it to blow away like a lost kite. It didn’t of course, and the stylish tent attracted many questions from seasoned Cornish beach sitters. The sloped tent acts like an aircraft wing in wind. The sloped rear presses down to provide some shelter from the rear, and opens up with a breeze from the front allowing it to pass trough.Over a 5 hour beach day I only adjusted the poles twice to match the change in wind direction.
