I love to hike in the winter!I just tried these last weekend and they are fabulous. They kept all the snow out of my laces and from going in around the top of my hiking boot. The strap that goes under your boot and little hook that grabs onto your laces keeps.them from getting pushed up by the snow. They are easy to put on and stayed secure for my entire 5 km hike in deep snow. They would also work great on a muddy day and would keep the mud from splashing up onto your pants.I highly recommend this Canadian made product...they know snow!!

A strong product with easy fit design. Velcro and conventional straps hold them firmly in place. The velcro so effective that it grips your woollies so keep your jumper clear as it grips very firmly. These are great for protection trousers legs when hiking, scrambling etc, but I needed them to keep sawdust out of my boots while using a chainsaw which is a near daily job this time of year. They are especially good for this purpose and have simple fit making fitting and removal easy especially useful if muddy at the time. Brilliant pair of gaiters for many possible uses.

Phenomenal, would buy again and recommend. I use them for all manner of snow activities. Better than last pair and half the price of big stores. Velcro front is super strong and includes an added Velcro latch to prevent them from pulling apart at the toe (super upgrade over my last pair). The material is tough I'm very happy with them. With these I can do any snow activity with just my hiking boots and no need for snow pants.
