I’ve had this brand and type of paper towel holder for at least 15 years and have loved it. Finally the threads got stripped on the top so I decided to replace it with the “exact same one.” Well, if I never had the former version of this paper towel holder, I would probably be thrilled with it! It is quite lovely with a nice finish and has a pretty solid base. The top screws off and on go the paper towels. It’s heavy enough that it stays in place when you rip one off. The older model was a bit more sturdy overall and the top was so much heavier than this one. The top ball on this is very light and obviously hollow. It takes away from the rest of the holder and is no comparison to the older model. For this I rate it a 4. They just don’t make ‘em like they used to!

Segundo toallero para servitoalla que pido de Umbra y también llegó flojo el tubo, no sé si esto ocurre durante el envío cuando manipulan las cajas. Voy a proceder a la devolución. Gracias.

it goes with our new kitchen. light gray cabinets, chrome and white handles. ss fridge etc.
