This is an affordable small enclosure. This would be sized for inverts, not reptiles/amphibians.It comes as a flat pack and you have to assemble it. In general this isn’t my preferred style because the cage isn’t as strong, where the pieces attach is always clunky, and the pieces aren’t sealed to each other which results in soil or water or small bugs getting through the cracks. However, this style is usually cheaper than ones that arrive as one piece. This one has some improvement as it has a solid box at the bottom which keeps stuff from falling through the bottom. The hinged door isn’t perfect and I have to be careful when I open it or it’ll get bound up.I almost never use it but I like the addition of the magnetic hatch on top.The price is competitive at $17, and it’s worth considering .

It makes me laugh that I've reviewed so many of these acrylic terrariums with reviews about how I use them as plant terrariums and now I'm seeing basically the same thing with descriptions of them being versatile rather than just jumping spider cages. But it's honestly the truth. These little terrariums are extremely versatile and can be used for invertebrates or just with plants. I like to get the on s that are fully sealed at the bottom. But truly, these acrylic tanks are awesome.

hen I got this I was not too impressed. I've had plenty of jumping spider enclosures and usually you can tell before you ever assemble them that they're going to be good, or bad. This one was a pleasant surprise. I am never a fan of the rubber band assembly method, but once together this holds true and solid. I like that they have a large spread of very small holes instead of a smaller spread of bigger holes. I'm not crazy about the doorway. I would advise giving your jumper a hide far from the front. Because you will wreck their house opening the front if they decide to live on the front. For me, the saving factor on me really liking this enclosure is that it has a solid bottom. Solid, in that it can hold water, substrate, etc without you having it all leak out through the rubber band ties. You could even grow mini plants in there if you wanted to go so far. In the end, this is a great deal for the price, which is lower than most of the similar enclosures that do not have a solid bottom.

Out of the handful of terrariums I've gotten recently this is definitely top-tier. If you're going to buy multiple different terrariums, get this one first. It is very easy to set up with the instructions and even comes with a little tool that helps you remove the plastic film that is on the pieces. This is an absolute game-changer. You can then use this on all the other ones that you buy off Amazon because, out of the five I bought, this was the only one that came with the tool. It's so much easier than trying to scratch the corners of the pieces with your fingernail to try to peel off the film. I can't say enough, that if you're looking for a nice small terrarium, nothing terribly big, and love convenience, get this.
