I own 3 different bike shoes currently, and as of now these are my training shoes and will be my sprint triathlon shoes for the season.1. There are foot vents, and a open gap at the top of the shoes so your feet can dry off.2. The heel pull. It has a small notch so you can tie an elastic band onto them for quick mounts. Note, my heel locks well in these shoes but I have small heels, wide toes with a high arch.3. The anckle strap. The good- very secure, and the velcro hasn't started to fray. And it also locks into place fully extended so that way you can slip these on without a problem and sinch them down quickly. The bad- these shoes take away 5-10 degrees of ankle mobility when my feet are in a neutral position. If your have a aggressive foot angle then this will not be a problem, but if your heel likes to stay lower while riding then you will have to adjust the strap so it doesn't hinder your comfort and mobility.4. Toe strap is perfect, no complaints. It allows me so slip into my shoes comfortable and snug. Finally, these shoes have very stiff soles. And 6/10 for comfort, 10/10 for price to quality ratio and 8/10 for functionality.
