Excellent product. Bought it for my chicken coop. This works perfectly, save me time and providing fresh water for my chickens. Easy to install and looks very durable. Highly recommended.

Performs as expected, to the highest degree. The worst part about my ancient auto waterers was scooping out all the muck in the bottom by hand. Freezing hands in the winter, and not so refreshing in the summer. It was extremely difficult, if not impossible, to get all the mud and slime out just by scooping. This is the same design and size as my old ones, with easier-to-clean, durable stainless steel, and a nifty drain in the bottom. Installation was simple: truly tool free, and all parts needed were included for a nearby hose attachment. All parts were high quality; the only plastic was the expected gaskets. There was some leftover hardware for alternate attachments. The drain opens and closes with a knife switch (included), making clean out easy, no tools required. The drain attachment does stick a bit into the bowl, requiring a quick swirl for all dirt removal. Mine are outside with drainage onto dirt, but could be attached to a small drain pipe for indoor purposes. Sized for horses, but usable for smaller livestock or pets. Good value!

Water was NOT shutting off as it should, and overflow the bowl creating a mess. Anyways after messaging the seller, they suggested I level the bowl a little more, I did so with limited success. The holes used for the mounting hardware were just at the water line, causing it to drip from there now. After further and closer inspection, I discovered the plastic float has a leak, and water has gotten inside the float, causing it not to float high enough in the bowl to shut the water off. I replaced with a Higher quality float valve (from amazon) and used a couple rubber pieces from an innertube to make a gasket for the mounting holes. Whew, finally works as it should.
