I purchased this for my new Breville BOV800XL oven. I saw several reviews indicating you can keep this on top of the oven when the oven is in use. As a retired firefighter and retired accident investigator, I STRONGLY recommend do not keep this on the top of your toaster oven when it's in use. I did try it when baking a pizza and found the top of the board got warm, but the bottom of the board became very hot. Use common sense! However, I now keep the board off the top of the oven and found it to be a very good quality board. The feet keep it from moving around on the counter.
