This pair of cutting boards is as described but I have learned I am not a fan of tempered glass as a cutting board. When cutting through food that requires a bit more force, there was quite a bit of noise each time the knife slid through to hit the board. Even though the glass is said to be able to withstand the force, I wonder how long it would be able to do so. Also, the fact that the board is simply a smooth surface means that any liquid that runs out of what is being cut can easily run off the side. The boards are slightly heavy but very thin and have little rubber nibs on the bottom to prevent sliding. For anyone that likes using tempered glass cutting boards, these seem like a perfectly good option but I would not recommend them to anyone else based off of the lack of functionality.

Muy bonitas, la dejas encima de cualquier parte de la cocina y no se ve mal. Cortas y picas alimentos en cualquier momento que necesitas sin necesidad de guardar y sacar

Most of our household decor is black; of course I had to have these black glass cutting boards. The two sizes it includes are great; the smaller one is ideal for day to day chopping and quick use, and it looks so nice aesethically and quality-wise that it could be left out all the time. It would look fantastic on a wet bar as well. The larger board is good for heavy duty meal prep type stuff and also would be a great charcuterie board or presentation tray; the black tempered glass is really stunning and turns these cutting boards from mere practical items that must remain hidden in the cabinet (looking like scratched up garbage) to multipurpose food service and prep tools - can prep meal or bar items, serve food, use for a party food display, and if you're really skilled, you could even use it as a service tray (like bringing around a room to serve apps and snacks). The weight of these is pretty substantial so there's no risk of knocking them over or accidentally scooting and moving them while prepping (unlike my plastic sheet cutting mats). There are also rubbery feet on the bottom that make it impossible to scoot across a slippery counter. Only time will tell whether they are as durable as they are attractive. Overall, these are beautiful and display-worthy glass cutting boards. They are not for small children and do require paying attention when using; luckily, if they do break, the tempered glass will be much easier to deal with compared to regular glass!

I got these to use on the counter area where I put cat food into the bowls. Our countertop is black, so sometimes, I couldn't see the translucent food juice that would end up on the counter, despite wiping it off every time. So even though they're "cutting" boards, I was mostly interested in using them as a counter cover that would blend in, but would easily be picked up and washed in the sink or dishwasher. These did the job perfectly! I'm laying sharp can tops down on the board daily and it seem scratch resistant. They're almost mirror-like in appearance, very expensive looking. They're pretty thick and I'm not afraid that dropping one would be a massive glass catastrophe all over my kitchen floor. Probably a couple of large pieces, were that to happen, which is important with cats prowling around when you're getting their dinner ready. Overall, they're a pretty good value for the money and I'd recommend them. I might buy a couple more to use solely as cutting boards, as they're intended, because we still have plastic. I know, I know.

You know the feeling when you recieve an order and it more than meets expectations to the point it brightens the day? This cutting board did that in my household.I have used a plastic board for years. I even knead bread on it, because I can quickly wash it, beforehand and I don't like kneading on a bare countertop, no matter how many times it's cleaned. Then, I found out about microplastics in food, which in my estimation, have probably reached the point where there isn't an awful lot we can do to minimize the damage. Nevertheless, I couldn't continue with the plastic board, so I opted for this one. This board is designed so well. It elevates my kitchen, as the area is kept pretty minimal, by choice. The black looks elegant against the mostly white of my countertops and matches the black glass range. Most kitchen items are hidden away in cabinets and drawers, but this sits out as part of the decor.Made of tempered, shatter proof glass, you can set hot pots and pans on the surface. It has non-slip feet and doesn't scratch at all, when you chop or slice. You could press this board into service for appetizers or drinks - I won't say again how sleek and eye-catching it is, but you just couldn't be disappointed with this selection. And, lastly, there's a miniature cutting board included - 8" x 12" in the same beautiful, black beauty. Definitely a 5 star item...

Good price for two cutting boards. These are my first glass boards. Cutting chicken, the chicken slides which is annoying. I’m also nervous the cutting board is going to break when I wash it, because it’s slippery and I’m afraid it’s going to slip out of my hands. But the appearance is great, very sleek and classy. The little one looks like an iPad, keeps surprising me when I see it in the sink.
