The reel is the best, love it. I loved the first one so much I ordered a second one. My issue has been the rod. I only fish for pan size fishing. Tips on both my rods has broken off .

I’m a beginner and this rod was pretty easy to figure out. I was able to get a pretty nice cast as a beginner. It took me a minute to find the reverse lock (great feature - can’t imagine figuring out a pole without it). 6 foot was a good beginner pole length for me. Any longer and I think I would have been frustrated.
