I needed a small light to accent the ceiling at my home theater and these small 1" lights were perfect. They are 110v so no need for a transformer, Very easy to connect and install. The black bezel was nicely finished and perfect for the black ceiling at the home theater. The 2 year warranty is a big plus. I will update the review in 6 months to see if they didn't develop and flickering and how the performed over a long period.

I think I found my new favorite lights. I have been looking for a small versatile light for some time and these are perfect. These little lights are very small however they are very bright. I plugged one in and it lit up nearly two rooms with enough light that I would actually consider it to be too bright for a night light on the far wall of the second room. They also have a very wide flood type of illumination. These are bright enough (cool white) to be able to utilize for task lighting if installed in a cabinet above a desk or work table which is what this first set will be used for. I will be constructing a hobby electronics work station and these will be perfect inside the fold out station. I also need to construct an all around work table and may incorporate another set into that one as well. I really like that they can be wired for 120vac using the included transformers, or by simply disconnecting the jst connector to remove the transformer I have the option to utilize a 12vdc system. The included transformers for each light is only rated at 300ma so they draw very little power. This will be very useful since I already have many other 12 & 24vdc led strips etc and an assortment of power supplies (we can say Led & micro-controller addict here;). Although the description states you only need to drill a 1" hole you will actually need a 1-3/16" hole (or 1-1/8" and notch a tiny bit on each side) to get past the spring clips. The machined aluminum back of the light is actually 1-1/32" without the springs that protrude from the side so even a 1" hole would have to be enlarged a tiny bit if you were to cut the springs off (not a good idea anyway since the lights need a bit of space to help keep them cool as the bare aluminum back is utilized as a heat sink). I am going to have to order several more sets of these since they are a perfect size, very bright (I prefer everything lit up like daylight anyway) and so versatile.

These are very little lights. I was afraid there would not be enough light. I was wrong on that count. I could light a large portion of the kitchen with just one.Each light has a little 110v to 12vdc power supply. One welcome surprise was the connector between the supply in the light. It matches our 12v system. It was nice to wire some of these together and use an outlet with a wall switch. At one end, to use the same outlet meant stringing wire past or over the stove. We already had a 12v supply going to lights over the stove, so I wired some to that supply. They now come on with the stove lights, which is OK, since it is a food prep area.

Were planning to use these as some accent lighting for some built in shelves. They are perfect. They will provide the perfect amount of accent lighting. They are easy to install. They look really good. I am going to buy more for more projects. 10/10 would recommend.
