This is great, like the tint to it, made it blend in better so didn't even notice it really when lights turned off.

As the listing says, this is only the conduit cover for an LED light strip. Most of these covers have a removable top diffuser but as described, this is a solid piece. It does diffuse the light well and gave even light, better than others with the dual layer for light to pass through. I tried is with a high led count strip. It was either 500 or 800 leds per meter. It was a short piece I had laying around and don't remember exact details. The quality of the product is good and it should hold up to most uses. I tried tearing it and it holds up to some abuse. I got it to test as an option for led strip lighting under stair tread lips. It seems like it will hold up for it If I go this route. It is very flexible and would work well with curves and other architectural features requiring bends as stated. The top is dark color. It looks nice and hides well but as expected, it does dull the light intensity a lot with the two layers to go through so keep that in mind. It did alter the color some also. The strip I tested it with was RGBW and I had to adjust the color to get it how I wanted with and without this product. Yellow seemed more amber in my opinion but it might have just been my eyes playing tricks on me. Wanted to mention this because it might be an issue if you are buying a single color strip and you are picky about the color like me. This is a good value for what it is but you might have to spend more on the light controller and strip setup if you are picky about the color and intensity.

This ad is for a conduit only… no lights… the picture shows lights but they will not be in the box

So you’ve got a 5mm LED strip light lying around, just itching to be the star of your next home decor project? Well, the KSDLMPA LED Channel System is here to help — kind of. With its 16.5 feet of flexible silicone tubing and sleek black cover, it promises to add a touch of sophistication to your walls or ceilings. The only problem? It doesn’t come with the actual LED strip light. Oopsie!Installing this channel is a bit like doing a DIY escape room challenge. With the size of 10x10mm, you’d think it would be a snug fit. Think again! You might need to channel your inner contortionist to fit everything perfectly. And don't get me started on the "wear-free" claim. Let's just say, if this channel were a contestant on a reality show, it wouldn't get the immunity idol for durability. While the silicone material is pretty flexible, it might be a bit too flexible, making it slightly challenging to hold that perfect shape. On the bright side, it does give off a sleek, modern vibe — once you manage to wrestle it into submission. It's like the yoga pants of the LED world: it looks good, but you’ll definitely know you’re wearing it.In conclusion, if you're up for a little project and don’t mind a few hiccups along the way, the KSDLMPA LED Channel System could be your quirky partner in crime. Just make sure to bring your patience and a good sense of humor. You'll need it!

The listing pictures depict light shining out of a white surface, but that is actually the back of the strip. Instead, your LEDs face against that side and project out through the black side. As others have written, this reduces the brilliance significantly. In addition, this design and the silicone material insulates the LEDs, trapping heat inside which will ultimately reduce their lifetime. Unless you have a very particular installation for which a black surface is desired, this is probably not a product you're looking for.
