OK, if both had smooth edges. But one was sharp in a couple of places. You could cut your fingers. I didn't use them, but it looks like the handles could be a little short for use. (Their photo isn't real. I'm going by the length of the handle. In the photo, you wouldn't have a hold on the handle at all. I don't care for companies that photo shop their products.) I really didn't want long handles that made it harder to fit in a drawer. But you would have your hand right in the steam of the pasta water with this shorter handle. I will be returning this pair. I do think if it didn't have the sharp areas, I probably would have kept them and given them a try.

Let me just get this out of the way first, the initial feel you are going to get out of these is "cheap." They bend very easily, and are made out of quite thin metal. If you want something that feels high quality, you are in the wrong place.That being said, they do work just fine. I have only hand washed them, but they still look like they did when I got them. This kind of thing is quite easy to hand wash if you do it right after you use it. I've used it with my instant pot (stainless pot obviously, not the nonstick one) quite a bit, and everything is fine thus far. They will hold pasta without breaking, because they are metal. If you've ever grabbed a big serving of pasta with a plastic spaghetti fork only for the handle to break, you'll appreciate that these aren't about to snap. They may bend though. You can just bend them right back though.

These are heavy and well-made server spoons. I appreciate that the set comes with 2. They lose their shine when you put them in the dishwasher, which is why I am taking away a star. I also wish they were a little bigger. Overall, they serve their purpose, and I would buy them again.
