I’ve had a plastic spaghetti spoon that finally started to crack, so I replaced it with this one. This is a nice kitchen tool. It holds both long pasta (spaghetti, angel hair, linguini, etc.) well and it also works for short pasta types. I like that it is long enough to lay on top of my pasta pot and still have the handle be off the pot so it doesn’t get hot/steamy. The “fingers” of the spoon part hold it onto the pot so it doesn’t fall off or in. The stainless steel means it doesn’t bend when the water is boiling, unlike my old plastic one.It’s also easy to clean as it’s all metal and there’s no silicone (which can pick up odors).

This is not as thick and strong as some pasta spoons I've had. But, this is quite inexpensive, and has a good air-insulated grip to keep it from getting hot. Being stainless steel, it is easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. If you don't have a proper pasta spoon and your budget is tight, get this one - you'll much much happier than with a cheap junky one, while still saving money over the costly brand-names. As long as you aren't trying to serve Mr. Creosote spaghetti, this will do just fine.
