No documentation, quality seems ok otherwise. You'll need to do some trial and error setting this up due to no English writing and no documentation. Other than that it is a functioning photo eye that can easily be adjusted for sensitivity. I suggest adding instructions with this unit, and English as well as Chinese.

It works well, forget fixing it though. The insides are filled with epoxy.

After finally getting the sensor and installing it, it last 3 day before the wiring snapped.My fault for going cheap on a product.

The wires are colour coded but they are labelled in Chinese. There is no documentation with the product.It turns out that brown is positive, blue is negative, and the black wire is the sensing output. There is a multi-turn potentiometer on the back that adjusts the sensitivity. Clockwise increases the sensitivity (senses at a longer distance) and counterclockwise decreases the sensitivity (senses only at shorter distances). The red LED on the back illuminates when the device has sensed an object and it is dark when there is no object. If the red light is on all the time, you need to decrease the sensitivity.If you're wiring it up to a micro-controller, you need to supply between 6 and 36 vdc and run the black wire into a GPIO input.Once you identify the wires, the sensor works well and provides a stable and repeatable output. Sensing distance seems to vary a bit with the colour of the object.

I was unhappy that there was no information provided with this product.But - fortunately I was able to find something on Google which helped.As result I was able to connect it into my project and am using it now
