Tested these in a few different environments and I'm getting 1.5-2 miles of range with static but still understandable audio. Ive tested these in urban and wooded settings and performance is great.

Los compré para una empresa en dónde hay varias paredes y distancias un poco largas, a pesar de eso estos radios funcionan muy bien, su base de carga es práctica y no debes de invertir en más accesorios porque ya los.tiene incluídos

This product fit our needs perfectly. We purchased these for security purposes at a picnic. The goal was to have a means of communication between family members in different locations, and these units worked perfectly. The sixteen channels allowed us to assign them to various people for quick and discreet messaging. The range exceeded expectations, and the batteries still had a charge after a long day of use. The units were very lightweight and sturdy enough that it didn't feel like a toy. Overall we highly recommend this product.

We bought 20 of these for a family cruise of about 20 people on one of the Oasis class ships, the largest cruise ships in the world. We were THRILLED. I mean, this saved the vacation. These ships carry 5,400 passengers and 2,100 crew; so, we found we almost never noticed the same people twice, and gathering those in our group would have been impossible except for scheduled dinner time.Other folks who noticed the walkie-talkies and the clear communication would frequently tell us they wished they had done the same.We tested on-land range at 1 mile with many obstructions (houses and trees), and we could still communicate. The interference at this range was starting to get uncomfortable, though.On ship, we could easily communicate with folks in Port and within miles to unobstructed land (like the beaches near the cruise ship with line-of-site).Range on ship is dramatically reduced by all the steel. Here are our results:Deck 9 aft to Deck 16 mid: Perfectly clear (almost had line-of sight given we had an interior balcony that could see deck 16)Deck 16 midship to Promenade Deck 5: Some interferenceDeck 3 midship to Deck 9: Not possible (if there was possible line-of-site, like with balconies, it would likely work)Forward to aft of ship: Only worked when on the top decksThe battery life is fantastic; most people only had to recharge once on our 7-day cruise. I bought a 3-port USB adapter so I could charge my phone and both talkies for our room (the talkies come with two single USB-to-AC adapters which can become problematic on most other cruise ships which have very limited power outlets), but ended up not really needing to worry about charging much.Channel selection comes with a convenient, audible announcement of the new channel - very helpful.We were almost always able to communicate, and these walkie talkies significantly optimized the time we could spend together (instead of looking for each other!).

I purchased 10 and used 8 at a time to manage couple of large indoor events (drama show). Later my kids are using couple of those around the home. Very high quality build. Easy to operate. voice quality is acceptable. All changes work good. Battery holds charge that lasts for days. On given day I have used at least 2 hours talk time and still had juice left. Overall good value for the money. Totally recommend it.

The walkie-talkies work great, however there is a usb cord that goes from the base to the plug, however the plug is not included. The directions have the plug in it and tells you to connect it but it wasn't in any of the 10 boxes. Nowhere in the description does it say that the plugs are not included. It has been 3 days and customer service hasn't gotten back to me. DisappointedEdit: I have heard back from the company and they are going to send the charges- A+ effort on their part. However the plugs are still not included in the box and customers need to be aware. Outside of the charging/plug issue the walkie-talkies work very well. They are very clear with very little to no static.
