I love this yarn! It does take some trial and error to get the right tension to make the colors match up to the pattern. I personally use a 5.75mm hook, rather than the 5.5mm that the yarn calls for. Once you get the hang of it you'll fly through your granny squares! The pattern is pretty confusing to a beginner (or someone who can't read a crochet pattern - ME), but there are several Youtube videos that really helped me get the hang of it.The yarn itself is pretty good quality, and pretty soft! I'm hoping it'll just get softer after blocking and washing. It does split occasionally, but it's not too difficult to work around / fix. I originally got this yarn at my local Walmart, but of course as soon as I needed more, they were out of stock. I'm so glad I was able to find it on here, and it's a bit cheaper for the 3 pack, as it was about $8 a skein at Walmart.I did knock on star off because one of the three skeins that came in this pack was from a different dye lot, so the colors are much lighter than the other two. I'm hoping it wont be super noticeable once I get the whole blanket together.

I have. Ought several colors for afghans. It is fun to work with and easier to use than the granny square yarn. Some of the colors do have bd bleed over.

Great price and nice that they have it as it is hard to find at online retailers.
