I wanted to like this fingering-weight yarn/string so badly - but I hate knitting with it. It’s very pretty, shiny, and colorful; however, the skein falls apart no matter what I tried. After much frustration and a couple of false starts, I decided to roll the skein into a ball before attempting another knitting session. Alas, I couldn’t even do that without it falling apart, twisting too tightly, and needing much detangling. I had to cut and splice it several times just to get it rolled into a ball. Then I knitted it off the ball, and that was only marginally better than using the skein. I won’t buy this again.

I liked the yarn, but I had to send it back. The photo was deceiving. I needed ombre orange (no other colors), which is what the pictures shows. However, when I got the yarn, there's a fuchsia color that you don't see on the photo. It's really pretty, just not what I needed. It was also not the right thickness. This is fingering weight. I needed medium (#4) weight. The yarn is soft.

A very nice yarn for crochet! The color is subtle and beautiful. I can’t wait to make a project with it.

It’s gorgeous yarn (I would say it’s similar to crochet thread, the thicker gauge, but with far better drape and texture), but one thing that’s annoying is that I’m having to put these skeins on a yarn swift and rewind them. Best of luck finding the center pull, and even if you manage it, there’s a bajillion knots. I got sick of it so I just unwound this skein and put it on a swift. It still takes awhile. Is it worth it? I believe it will be, although I’m just now getting the first skein ready to go, so I don’t know for sure yet. Maybe it’s unavoidable (and at least they mostly come loose easily), or maybe their process of winding could use improvements, I’m not sure, but I wanted to give ppl a heads up. You could probably bypass winding it up again yourself if you wanted to pick out knots every couple of feet, but I didn’t want to deal with that, so I just did it at one time. To be fair, once you got into the skein, the knots disappear towards the center.
