On a lancer se 2011 Every spring in the set and the "nail" are too short. Installed new brake shoes and i had to use all but the two yellow spings and the blue springs from my previous shoe brake. The old one are in bad shape ( super rusty) but still better than these. (Here was the only place i seen these no shop around me had any of those springs kit)

You would think a company like Raybesto's which is known for making brake products would know how to make a decent ebrake hardware kit. First thing I noticed is the locator pins were not slotted. This is the first time I have ever seen a locator pin that wasn't slotted. How to heck are you supposed to even turn the pin to lock it in place? I reused my factory pins since the ones in the kit were unusable. The springs for the locator pin were an issue too. The springs were a little longer than the OEM ones. That shoulnd't be an issue, because its a spring right? Wrong. The compression of the spring was so tight that there was no way it would compress enough to lock the pin in place.Again, I reused my OEM parts. The other parts were okay for the most part. I had to bend the end of a few of the other springs because the hook wasn't big enough to fit through the shoe, but things like that I can work with.I'd personally never buy this kit again, and couldn't recommend it either.EDIT: So a few weeks after doing this install on my car I was helping my cousin do brakes on his car and he was also doing the ebrake hardware. Lo and behold his car uses the same kit. The difference is his pins actually go in from behind the backing plate so what gets twisted (in this case) isn't the pin, but the spring cover. This makes sense for his car not to have slotted pins, but why not just slot all the pins if kits are going to fit multiple cars?He also found out the springs were too tall. Being his springs were mangled (part of why he was doing the kit) he had no choice but to use them. We had to cut a row off the springs in order for them to be usable.Rating still remains at 3 stars just due to kit needing improvement.
