I got it working, though the instructions were more than a little sparse, and the screws to mount the cooling fan were missing from the kit entirely. Fortunately, I was able to find something adequate to replace them. Also, the manual went on at length about to how to flash the operating system on to the SDRAM, but why? The SDRAM already has the Raspberry Pi OS installed on it. That, and some other oddities, told me that the documentation was slightly out of date.

Remember that childhood wonder of watching gears turn and wires hum? The MarsKit Raspberry Pi 4 Starter Kit rekindled that spark for me, but this time, with 8GB of RAM and the mesmerizing ballet of ones and zeros playing out in a transparent case. Let me tell you, this kit isn't just for tech heads – it's an invitation to anyone who ever dreamed of building robots, flashing lights, and maybe even conquering the world (one line of code at a time, of course).**Features & Benefits:*** **Transparent Tech Wonderland:** Forget opaque black boxes. This case is like a high-tech aquarium, showcasing the silicon symphony within. Watching the processor pirouette and the RAM race around was the first "wow" moment, not to mention a conversation starter that never failed to impress (and slightly terrify) my cat.* **Beginner-Friendly Blastoff:** I'm no coding whiz, but the Raspberry Pi OS felt like my personal Yoda, guiding me through menus and tutorials with the patience of a saint. No cryptic jargon, just point, click, and code my way to blinking LEDs and scrolling text – enough to fuel my inner geek for weeks.* **Powerhouse Under the Hood:** Sure, it's not the cheapest kit on the block, but 8GB of RAM is no joke. I could code, browse, and even dabble in light gaming without a single lag-induced meltdown. Think of it as buying a front-row seat to the future, with the processing power to actually build something, not just watch cat videos (although, there's always the cloud for that).* **Setup Smooth Sailing:** I'm no tech genius, but even I managed to get this kit up and running in under an hour. The instructions were clear, the components pre-tested, and the OS walked me through everything step-by-step. Even my tech-averse roommate managed to connect the Wi-Fi (with a little nudging, of course).* **Storage Hiccups with Solutions:** The 32GB storage might not be enough for your entire movie collection, but there's always the option to upgrade later – think of it as adding extra fuel to your spaceship on its way to coding stardom. Is the MarsKit Raspberry Pi 4 Starter Kit the Holy Grail of beginner kits? Not quite. It's pricier than some, and the storage could be bigger. But for its user-friendliness, transparent cool factor, and sheer power under the hood, it's a fantastic launchpad for anyone itching to explore the world of coding and tinkering. So, fire up your imagination, strap on your coding goggles, and let the MarsKit take you on a digital journey that's as transparent as its case and as exciting as a rocket launch. Just remember, the real magic happens when you start coding your own dreams into reality. And who knows, maybe your next creation will be a robot that dispenses endless popcorn. Now that's something to code for!

Overall, this is a really nice starter kit for the Raspberry Pi 4. The board included has 8GB of RAM, which is the highest amount you can get for the Raspberry Pi 4. The AC adapter with the on/off power button is a great addition, as it prevents wear on the port from constant plugging and unplugging during experiments. The case included seems like a decent basic option, though I used my own. Unfortunately, the microSD card adapter didn’t work for me, which was a bit disappointing. However, having all the necessary micro HDMI cables in the kit was a real time-saver. Aside from that, the kit includes everything you need to start building your first single-board PC.

Came with everything it was supposed to, simple to use, good instructions, and overall fun to tinker with. It's not like a normal computer but the basics are there.
