I use this to weigh out hay for my easy keeper horse that was getting overweight. You can calibrate it, so I find it to be pretty accurate as long as you do that. I've saved a lot of hay because I was unknowingly feeding a lot more than necessary.

The scale it relatively accurate. The built in calibration knob works well. Easy to read. High value for the money. Feels cheaply made. The hooks are not secured so they fall off during use which is pretty annoying.

I tested this with a known calibrated weight. It was dead on accurate for checking archery bow weight. The t-handle digital weight checkers are handy but not nearly as accurate. I know because I have 2 of those.

We hang the hay bags on the scale to weigh the hay for the horses. Thats so we don't over feed them and also have reduced hay waste. Horses seem satisfied and maintaining their weight.

I like the size, it is easy to read.I am using to weigh haybags for my horses.
