This is a fantastic, simple, tough device. No moving parts, heavy, easy to use, and very attractive to look at. It makes quick and easy work of opening cans, and is easy to clean. I saw some other reviews stating that it rusts, but I haven't had any issues with that. I do dry it off after rinsing it, though. I keep it on a rubberized magnet attached to the refrigerator. The price is dirt cheap, as well. The text on the card is all in Japanese, but it is extremely intuitive to use.

缶切りの必要な缶詰そのものが最近はあまりないので出番は少ないのですが、それでもないと困るので購入しました。余計な機能がついてなくてコンパクトでとてもいいです。

Tenía mis dudas, pero como me cansé de las abrelatas normales que se rompan después del primer uso, decidí comprar ese, y estoy muy feliz con mi compra, funciona súper bien, fácil de usar y no se rompió todavía, ya llevo 3 meses usándola.

I found several similar items online, but nothing locally. This one turned out to be just what I wanted. All metal, very solid, feels good in the hand. Excellent leverage and a very sharp, strong blade makes opening a can easy. These can openers are much better than the conventional ones with the handles to squeeze and the blade on a wheel: they last longer, work better, and are easier to clean. Highly recommended.
