Worked once. Now will not open any can. Just butchers them. Absolute waste of money!

I bought this because my last oxo one died.I would say that it lasted at least 5 years.I love OXO brand, and I trust there quality.For some reason, this seams a little bit smaller then the last one.This makes it a tiny bit harder to clamp into the can.But I wouldn't say this is more then an observation.It works as needed.

Initial impressions: Best can opener I've ever used! Cuts cleanly and easily. Handle turns smoothly, easily and is very comfortable to hold. Hand wash only is a small price to pay. So far, money well spent!If it holds up to long use, then well worth the cost. If things change over time, will try to update review.Update: Almost 1 1/3 years later, this fantastic machine is still working like it was new! Opens cans like nothing else I've tried. Well worth the cost and highly recommended!!!

And it's not obvious that a can opener actually works.... So this is a big hit.Once the can opened, it doesn't cut, so it's safe to touch it.
