I am new to tarot, this is my first ever deck. When I was first looking up tarot cards, the artwork of the original RWS deck echoed a profound unapologetic feeling of wonder and danger, like you had come across an ancient tome containing a terrible power that you had to use responsibly. A tone that suits the nature of tarot perfectly, and I can see why Smith's artwork set the standard for over a century. While I do like the original RWS deck, I didn't want it to be the deck I started with. I wanted something that carried that same feeling of the RWS deck, but also put it's own unique spin on things. I checked out a variety of decks, but many seemed to forgo that weight the RWS deck carried in favor of catering to fandoms or trying to be more "relatable".But then I came across the Oriens deck. The fluorescent subjects set against the dark backgrounds give each card a spectral or cosmic aura and immediately drew my eye. The variety of animals on display was nice to see, and the choice of animal for each card felt fitting. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the art design, and the art itself is splendid and doesn't feel out of place for a divination tool. Ambi Sun has done a wonderful job and managed to nail that same tone of wonder and danger that the original RWS deck was brimming with, all while approaching it from a completely different angle. To put it simply, it feels like a proper tarot deck.To add to the flavor, the edges of each card has a silver holographic trim. The cardstock used for them is quite sturdy, stiffer than your average business card. I feel like these cards are going to hold up for a long time.Included is a guidebook that does what you expect, explaining the meaning behind each card, as well as the animal depicted within. It also covers basic spreads. The physical quality of the guidebook matches that of the cards, it feels well made.The box it comes in is clearly meant to store the deck and the guidebook for long term, and features that same silver holographic trim for the font on the box. The cardboard is very dense and there's a handy strap that allows you to easily pull out the book and cards without dumping the box upside down.Overall this is a great deck for anyone who wants to be "respectful" to the nature of tarot, a deck that makes you feel like you're pulling at the tapestry of fate with every card you flip over. I highly recommend it.

Je mets seulement 3 étoiles ,non pas pour le tarot qui est vraiment magnifique ,avec un livre très complet ! Au niveau du tarot tout est au topMais ....payer + de 30 euro pour un jeu pas neuf alors que je l'avait commandé neuf ! Je trouve ça très limite ! La boîte a été scotché et les cartes n'était plus sous blister et mélange ....Il est en effet très facile de trouver ce que l'on cherche sur votre site mais merci de respecter vos clients 🙏

Fue una buena compra, el tarot está muy bonito. Si eres principiante te va acostar trabajo entenderle, tienes que saber ya bien de las cartas para que no te confundas, por qué obviamente todo está representando con ánimales. Los colores son una locura la caja es dura. Tiene las orillas plateado, amo los tarot así.

La calidad es excelente, las cartas son muy hermosas y se sienten suaves pero firmes al tacto. No había conectado con un mazo tan rápido como con este.

他の方のレビューで、到着直後の検品を勧められていたので、まずは一枚一枚のチェックから始めました。束になっているカードは、写真のように少し反りはある。周りの銀コーティングが僅かに若干のムラになっているカードもあったけど全く許容範囲内でした。欠けたカードもなかった。周りの銀粉がカードに少しついていて、ダークなカードにキラキラとした銀粉が隠しラメのように煌めいていて、かえって素敵。一枚一枚、どれも素敵なカードでした。13番のdeath のカードは、ウーパールーパーでした。これが何故かを知っている人はどれだけいるでしょうか。ウーパールーパーというのは実は、地球上の生き物の中でもとても不思議な性質を持っていて、例えば手足などが切り落とされても再生されるんです。トカゲの尻尾は尻尾だけですが、ウーパールーパーは手足や身体の他の部位でも再生します。これは私が極度な動物好きで、トリビア話の好きなお世話になってる獣医さんから昔聞いた話なのですが、とにかく、動物の性質とカードの組み合わせの妙が凄い！吊るされ人も、多くのカードではThe hanged man ですが、このカードではジェンダーレスの The hanged "ONE" という表現になっています。(これは70年代に作られたMotherpeace tarot と同じ表現です。)その他のカードも、色々と深い。フルカラーの美しいガイドブックも付いていて、そこにはカード一枚一枚の深い説明と、巻末には登場した動物達の特性の説明も書かれています。大アルカナだけでなく、小アルカナのカードも1枚あたり見開き2ページ使った、贅沢な説明書です。小アルカナは、従来のタロットとは少し違う解釈ができそうな絵柄も多いですが、説明書を読むと、その意味が理解できます。だからこの動物が選ばれたんだ、だからこの絵柄で良いんだ！、と目から鱗の解説を読んで世界が広がります。普段から動物達に接している動物好きの人に特にお勧めのデッキですが、動物のことはあまり知らないという人にも勉強になるでしょうし、深い意味合いに他のデッキにはない深い世界観を感じられると思います。カードも説明書ガイドブックも、どちらも優秀。シンプルな英文なので、英語の基礎がある人ならどなたでも読めると思います。最近、安価な海賊版もAmazonで目にしましたが、銀粉キラキラもないでしょうし、何よりこのすごく役に立つガイドブックが無いならこのカードの読解力はつかないと思います。カードの紙の質は確かに薄めだけど、このデッキの価値は絵柄とその絵柄の深い意味合いを説明するガイドブックです。ガイドブック無い海賊版ではわからないこと多く、浅い自己流となってしまうと思います。正規版買って良かったです。

Wow! That's the only thing that came to my mind when I opend the tarot set. It even has a guide with it to help you read it. ! I'm impressed. My friend will love this!

This product is beautiful. The art is great and although it is my first deck and I am unsure how others feel I am not unhappy with the way the cards feel. The silver edges of the cards are beautiful and once separated they are easy to work with. The box came with a tiny bit of damage on a corner although this is probably more to do with the handling during shipping. The booklet doesn’t wholly explain all too much so doing research if this is your first deck also is a must but overall a great first deck. I love it.

Las cartas están hechas de muy buen material, me gustó mucho la gama de colores solo en algunas cartas le faltó un color más vivo pero se nota la dedicación con las que las hicieron.
