I didn’t realise quite how small this was, very small pieces inside, bought for a 5 year old but with younger siblings so she is unable to use much as pieces so small.

I loved Playmobil as a kid, and still appreciate the attention to detail and quality. My five-year-old daughter is into mermaids and unicorns, so the whole fantasy line of characters is amazing.This set however somewhat misses the mark for me because the accessories are SO small they could easily become lost upon opening the package. I was hoping this could be a bath toy, but it lacks the function to do so. If the clam were large enough for the mermaid to fit inside, it could easily be used at the pool or in the tub. As is, the clam is somewhat useless, and the shells while adorable are too tiny to really pick up, and would quickly swirl down any drain. I set this up in a sensory bin with water, glass gems and shells to avoid that tragedy. But it’s still challenging for the mermaid figure to “collect” shells in the net. And that is assuming one has very developed fine motor skills.The mermaid figure itself is detailed, and for the price it’s a good value for that alone. I just with the rest of the set was more functional.

Die Beschenkte hat sich sehr gefreut. Playmobil geht immer und hält lange.
