This pickleball paddle is awesome! It has great spin and control, and the handle is super comfortable with a nice grip. It’s built really well and feels like it will last a long time, even with regular use. Overall, it’s definitely improved my game and is totally worth the price. Highly recommend!

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Nicol Pickleball paddle, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The packaging was high quality and sleek. The paddle's design and construction are top-notch, providing excellent control and power on the court. The grip feels comfortable and secure, allowing for precise shots and minimizing the risk of slippage. The paddle's weight distribution feels just right, striking a perfect balance between maneuverability and stability. I found that the paddle’s surface helped me generate more spin on my serves and smashes, giving my shots greater depth and making them more challenging for my opponents to return. The combination of the paddle’s quality construction and the gritty surface makes it a standout choice for players who value control, spin, and overall performance on the pickleball court. It has the perfect amount of control and power. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, the Nicol Pickleball paddle is a fantastic choice that won't disappoint. It's become one of my go to paddles, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to elevate their game.

My wife and I started playing just five months ago. I play at about a 3.5-4.0 level. My wife is more at a 2.0-2.5. While we started with a standard Amazon paddle, we’ve been able to test out quite a few different paddles from friends who are full in on the pickleball scene. Just to give an idea of paddle preferences, I am a fan of the Legacy Pro and Six Zero Double Black Diamond (which I now own), while my wife loved the feel of the Ace Club paddle and Vatic Pro Prism Flash.First off, packaging was beautiful compared to other paddles that just come in a shipping envelope. This paddle came in a premium box with magnetic closures. Definitely a nice gift for any family or friends who love pickleball! We got the paddle almost 4 weeks ago and wanted to play with it for a while before writing a review. Although my wife primarily uses the paddle, I played with it several times. The textured weave on the paddle face really added to my spin and control. Definitely, made a difference. I like control paddles and this surely is a nice balance between power and control.I will talk more about how I notice a change in my wife’s game since she uses it more. Her returns are so much better and controlled. In her words she “gets much more accuracy with this paddle”. She’s able to serve the ball where she wants it and the elongated handle allows for those 2 handed backhands that she’s been working on. Also, the handle grip feels very premium and comfortable. She hasn’t had any problems with it slipping, especially during those long hours on the court! As for kitchen play, she’s been able to maneuver really well at the net with how light the paddle feels. Her dink game has surely improved since she’s been using the paddle.Overall, I think that the P-One is a good control paddle with a nice pop to it. My wife adjusted quickly to the paddle during the 1st week and her game has surely improved a lot over the last month. I’d surely recommend this paddle to anyone form beginner to advanced. It has very similar performance and quality compared to more expensive paddles and is surely an upgrade from any entry level paddles on the market.

This paddle has not disappointed, and for an intermediate to advanced player, it offers quality performance that rivals more expensive paddles. I have played regularly with the Joola Hyperion and the Diadem Warrior 2 and have trialed the Vatic Pro V7 (all of which have been terrific, with various pros and cons), and this Nicol P-one paddle really offers a lot of strengths in this tough market.Unrelated to the paddle performance, I do have to say that the packaging was very sleek and well-designed, and I enjoyed the experience of opening the box upon its initial arrival. With that said, it would be nice to have more options for interesting paddle designs, since I found the choices to be quite bland (design 1 was sold out at the time of my purchase). Not that aesthetics are the most important for selecting a paddle, but why not have both quality performance and a fun design? On to the actual paddle performance. The paddle feels relatively light, which does allow for good swing speed, plus there is the aerodynamic curved shape of the paddle that is also supposed to allow for greater swing speed and swing efficiency. I did not notice that much difference in power while using this paddle, but I think a lot of power is dependent on technique with less contribution from the paddle itself. However, I felt that there was a great degree of control with this paddle, and I think this was one of the greatest strengths that I noticed immediately. The sweet spot is reasonably large, although not quite as large as other paddles I have played with. Finally, the grip was very comfortable, and since I prefer a two handed grip for the majority of my backhands, the length of the grip was perfect for this.Overall, I do think this is good quality paddle that was very easy to adjust to. I felt like it offered superb control and allowed for great swing speed. This is a really great option that won’t break the bank if you are interested in upgrading from entry level paddles.

I just started playing pickleball about 3 weeks ago, and I got a cheap $15 paddle from amazon and it wasn't the best since the grip wasn't the best and the surface was rock hard. I love the feel for this paddle, after just playing with it for 2 days for multiple hours I felt so much better on the court. It offers great spin off your serve and playing backhand shots is much easier. The ball also hit the paddle without making such loud sounds, like the paddle I used previously. After renting a few paddles to test and try them, I would say this paddle is just as good if not better than the Ben Johns $250 paddle that is sold in most retail stores. The $98 price point for this paddle is affordable for the regular player and the quality is top tier. The high-grit carbon fiber on this paddle is very nice, and it offers great ball control. I had very few faults off my serve, and i was able to keep the ball low over the net. Another cool thing is the design of the paddle, I chose 'Design 2' as it had the companies name Nicol written on both sides of the paddle. I thought that was a great addition to a already wonderful product. Also the packaging the paddle came in is top class, the long box with magnets as you open and close it are amazing! If your in the market for a paddle, definitely give this one a go I assure you won't be disappointed and will continue to use it.
