This tent is excellent, especially for the price. Our dog, Taco, is small and hates the rain. Since it doesn't have a floor, he can go right in it and do his business. It's quite large, yet unobtrusive. It does collapse with the weight of snow, but once the snow has melted or is brushed off, it pops right back up. I did get extra long stakes for it which keeps it well anchored.

It's lightweight and very spacious. It takes a moment to figure out the opening but once you find it, you're in business. Highly suggest that you get a second person to help pitching it, especially if there is some wind... Any wind at all. But it's very spacious and the wind has no effect on it once it's up. The mesh windows let's the air pass right thru as if it's not there. Takedown is as easy at pulling the steaks up (if you used them), taking the rods out of the pins (in the 4 corners of the tent) and then disassembling the rods, roll it all up and shove it in the bag and good to go. 👍 Great purchase for sunny events.

I got this for a trip to Santa Cruz CA. This cover was really annoying to put up. The beaches here have very little wind. The cover was a sail and would not stay staked into the sand. Sliding the poles into the sleeves immediately caused small rips in the pole sleeves. I work at REI and putting up tents is literally part of my job. I would not recommend this, at least for a beach with wind faster than a light breeze.

We had such a hard time with assembly. It did not help that it was super windy. We found it hard to keep the rods connected. The quality of the fabric was good however it just didn't hold well on our beach trip.I wish I wasn't too lazy to send back for a refund.

As a red headed, pale skin individual, this item is amazing. Was a little difficult to put together the first time but once we figured it out has been a life saver for my skin. Opening is much higher than first anticipated (never read the dimensions, just looked at photos) which made the item even better. Packs up easily and well made.
