I normally wear a size 8. I ordered a size 8 in these, and it was significantly too big and I had to return them

Pretty shoes. Length was perfect. I really liked the style and it was relatively comfortable. BUT, there were two things about these shoes that made me return them:1) the opening squeezes the top of your feet, so your skin puffs out and your feet look fat even if the fit is perfect;2) the leather is really soft and wrinkles easily with every movement.For reference, I am btn 6.5 and 7, got the 6.5 in beige.
