Looks great and it was really a friendly build. I built 5 pc's for friends and family for Christmas and this was my favorite board in this price range. Wifi is robust and is rock solid. ARGB works well but I do have an issue with Armory Crate software. The software wants to license across the net but just hangs and has to be canceled. Did some research and this seems to happen with everyone. Sadly, that windows must be closed. Annoying but the software works, and I suspect they will fix it.

This motherboard is very well equipped mid-range board that is, while not for extreme gamers, will meet most users general needs. My most critical remarks are reserved for the industry standard L1700 socket design. This is a shockingly poor design that sees the CPU chip's multiple micro-contact pads laid on to hook shaped pins that are so fragile that it seems exposure to room air currents may cause them to deform. They are so fragile that even after carefully "landing" the CPU on to the pins, the PC has a fifty fifty chance the full processor functionality remains. Of course, the only way to confirm this is to completely assemble the PC and hope that it will load and that all the functions work. It's clear to me that this socket, due to its extreme fragility is not designed for anything other than "clean room" like procedures and not for general users. It gets worse, if you assemble the PC and it does not load, you remove the processor and discover one or more bent pins, MSI will NOT cover this under their warranty as its deemed as customer caused damage. I have seen anecdotal commentary from the RMA process and resulting estimates that the repair (socket replacement) typically costs more than ordering a new board. So, the whole exercise is a gamble whether or not the CPU install will be successful or not. Clearly, using extreme caution when installing the CPU is obvious and ensuring the pins are undamaged when the board is received mandatory. I have no idea what happens if a board with bent pins is received right out of the box.The PC industry really needs to address this situation as more and more of these boards circulate through customer, retailers and manufacturers.
