DO NOT TRIST THIS SELLER!!!!! First they sent the wrong one which was a 1hp I thought I'll just use it but I could tell tjat it had been uses by the packaging. It did nothing didnt work. So I sent it back and got the right one but it only listed 34 days. I contacted mohen and they are sending me a new one because it locked up. That is the only reason it got 3 stars (customer service for mohen). If the SELLER wants to contact me I'll talk to them.

Llego antes de lo planeado con todos sus aditamentosEs un poco más ruidos que el anterior pero funciona de acuerdo a sus especificaciones.Pregunta : dice garantía de 10 años . Como obtengo la garantía

We are remodeling out kitchen. Since the last time we did this was in 1999 I figured that I ought to replace the garbage disposal too. After reading up on them, the Moen looked to be the best. I was going to replace my 1/2 hp with another one, then I noticed that by upgrading to the 3/4 hp it went from a 5 year to a 10 year warranty. So I upgraded to the 3/4 hp for another 5 years of warranty. I figured it was well worth it. I like Moen products. If something breaks they replace it, no questions asked, and they help you figure out how to fix it too. For me, Moen is the way to go.

Got this (Moen Black EX Series Host Series 3/4) to replace my 5yr old InSinkerator Badger 500 (1/2hp) which had failed/started leaking.Pros:- Lighter than the InSinkerator- Come with a new collar, Stopper, Discharge Tube, & Flange- Can replace the inSinkerator disposal unit without having to replace the sink flange- Stainless Steel grind components- Reset button- 10 Year warrantyCons- Louder than the badger 500 by 10 -15 decibalsEven though this is louder than my old unit I kept it because the grind components are entirely stainless steel and it has a 10yr warranty. (I had to go up to 3/4hp as Moen doesn't make their 1/2hp with stainless grind components.)The problem with the old badgers is they don't last past 5 years due to the grind plate being galvanized steel. If I had to do it over again I would go with the higher end InSinkerator (made in the USA) that has the stainless grind components and is quieter than these Moen units.For reference my old badger tested at 63 DB Full sink of water) and 66 dB empty sink, while this new Moen was 74 dB (full sink) and 78 dB empty.
