Despite having zero handyman skills and know nothing about anything, I was able to install this disposal in my sink by myself and also fixed a jam thanks to the clear instructions in the user manual and the good product design. Love this product, excellent value in terms of price versus quality of the hardware

The install was easy, has plenty of power. I have used this unit for well over a year prior to this review and it's performing like the day it was installed. No complaints!

This was not easy to install, the rubber flange seems too high for the mounting tabs to connect with the slide over mounting tracks. I actually used a jack from my car to assist in installing as there was no humanly way possible to get under the unit and apply the necessary pressure to secure the unit to the mounting bracket. Once I accomplished that and hooked up the plumbing the damn thing leaked - I had to undo the plumbing and decided I would loosen and retighten the unit to the mounting bracket rather to start over - that seemed to work - I tested with 2 minutes of running water and all seems well now. The unit looks great - was only 9lbs because of it’s plastic casing and is quieter than previous 1/2 HP Badger 5.

Disposal was easy to install. Power cord already attached. Nice grinding system inside. Not as quiet as expected. Overall, nice unit.

I got this garbage disposal during Black Friday deals so definitely a great deal.I originally had an insinkerator 1/2 HP and it died after 6 years. After lots of research, this 3/4 HP disposal seemed worth the risk from the reviews, price and warranty.This disposal was very easy to install! Including the removal of the old disposal, cleaning, and installation I spent no more than two hours. This disposal fit perfectly with dishwasher connection, water release connection, and outlet connection. On top of all the positives, by far, the best part is this disposal is so much quieter than the last but way stronger/quicker! An additional bonus is that it looks clean/sharp under the sink :-)If you are in need of a replacement garbage disposal, I would highly recommend this one based on size, fit, connections/adapters, performance and quiet operation.
