I bought a number of sun hats for post CO2 laser and this was the one I liked the best.It's a mid weight fabric. I would have liked the brim to have been a little thicker fabric, but combined with 50 SPF, I had no issues. The brim is "posable" by a thin wire, but it was sufficient enough to enable me to adjust my field of vision when necessary. The width offered an admirable amount of UV protection all around, but I did notice some indirect sunlight exposure around my chin and mouth. It held its shape pretty well, even after being packed for travel.It's nice, neural shade and subtle details made it easy to coordinate with multiple outfits, making this my go-to when going to town.I recommend this item for moderate UV protection. If you intend to be outdoors in direct sunlight for an extended amount of time, you might consider something larger and heavier to have on hand for those occasions, or remember to reapply your sunblock as recommended.Good value and style, especially for the price.

I needed a big brimmed hat to keep the sun off my face but I also wanted one that I could pack. This hat arrived tightly packed up in a small hand-sized bag so I KNOW it can be packed in my suitcase. It also has an enclosed wire all around the edge of the brim which keeps it from losing shape and flopping down, which is usually the biggest drawback to a foldable hat. It fits nicely and comes with a detachable chin strap, for windy situations. Great little hat at a great little price.

Even if you are “not a hat person” you need to get this hat! Looks super cute and wire along the bring let’s you use in tons of configurations. Love it and you will too!!

Really happy with this purchase. I ordered this hat for our Florida beach trip this summer. I love that the brim has a wire all the way around so it can be adjusted to shade my shoulders and my face. It also fit well in my suitcase. I loved the little fabric pattern on the inside as an added bonus!
