I have always been a quality cookware person.And never purchase china made cook wear.I need a Dutch oven between my Staub 4 quart and my Staub 6 quart.I did some research and discovered this Dutch oven made in Germany, and was on sale so I took a chance.Oh my goodness what a great Dutch ovenNice and light weight heats up very fast was very easy to clean I really love it. It is MUCH lighter than my Staub and Le Creuset and that is good and bad, it moves around on the stove when you are adding and stirring! As I got used to that I was ok. I wish they had more colored than the grey but I don’t think any serious cook will be disappointed!

It is good pot, right weight and beautiful design. But it came with little bit of enamel scrapped off from top edges.Tips: Don’t put it on stovetop empty. Don’t try to scratch off any food color which doesn’t come off with non-abrasive sponge.

Cooked up a risotto in this tonight and I am super impressed. Looking forward to see how it handles a stew. I love that it is lighter in weight than some of my other cookware as I have an injured hand and sometimes struggle to lift them out of the cupboard.

I love my enameled iron pot. The colour is beautiful and understated, and it weighs so much less than my Le Creuset. I love it!!
