Nice features, solid construction, good insulation, a lot of easily accessed storage compartments. However, it has a design flaw that makes it very uncomfortable to carry for more than maybe 15 minutes.Coolers are used to carry heavier, more dense items like ice or ice packs, liquids, and perishable food. Therefore something even this small gets very heavy easily - much moreso than if it was packed with clothing. The ad pictures loaded with cans are VERY heavy. All that weight is supported only at the shoulders - somewhat like carrying a large child on your shoulders until it gets too much and you need a break. That's what this feels like within 10 minutes carrying a gallon of water, a quart of ice, a few small ice packs, and about 6 small containers of food.It is an absolute requirement that a padded waist strap be added to this. It also needs more substantial shoulders straps: wider and thicker padding. A more comfortable (thick, padded) and better-placed (top center) handle be added to allow another comfortable carrying option that doesn't dig into your hand.NO ONE IS HIKING WITH THIS!Note that in my searches on Amazon, I find none with a waist strap yet many comments that one is needed. Finally, to help you consider my comments, I am male, 5' 9"", 175 lbs, fit and relatively strong. I find my age -- 57 -- makes me much less tolerant of discomfort and bad ergonomics but doctors have told me my fitness is similar to a man in his 30s.

This product so far is good. It keeps ice packs cold for the whole day. We have not tried regular ice as people had said that it leaked but with just the ice packs, it does not leak. Otherwise the product is great. Keeps lunch cold and you can keep other items in it too.

I probably packed his backpack heavier than recommended. It was packed to do it absolute full capacity - breakfast lunch and dinner for four on a camping trip at the beach:8 cans m1 lb lunch meatCondiments2 pkgs hot dogs2 lbs cut fruit1 lb cheeseTortillas8 breakfast sausagesScrambled eggsContainer of guacamole4 ice packs4 frozen bottles of water32 oz ice chipsPaper platesPlastic cutleryNapkins4 water bottlesPicnic blanketGarbage bagPhoneWalletIt was comfortable and even packed so heavily, no signs of tearing. I could barely even find the seams inside. Definitely 100% waterproof. And the frozen water bottles at the bottom of the backpack were still halfway frozen when we got home from camping 40 hours later (without adding any ice). We were in moderate weather, about 68°. I will write another review if I can when I put it to the test in hot weather this weekend. The only thing that I wish it had was a hip support strap. I don’t usually go far with a cooler, so it’s no big deal, but if we were going to take this on a hike with a pack this full, a hip support would’ve been ideal. There is a sort of hidden zipper compartment where the backpack touches your lower back. I thought that was a really cool feature and was happy to put my wallet there. Also, there were a lot of places to put carabiners on which I didn’t do on this trip, but I will definitely do in future ones. I use the stretchy straps on the outside to put the picnic blanket, but I could really see myself using that in the future for things like towels or jackets. It was really handy. And lastly, the backpack looks really nice. It’s a great color and just appears to be very sturdy and well-made. I’m really impressed so far! My husband is a really big guy backpacks sometimes look kind of funny on him, but this backpack fit easily and worked well functionally and aesthetically for both him and I.

This thing is cavernous!Nicely made, looks good, and plenty of pockets., with a nice liner and thick insulation. And it is roomy. Rack pocket and compartment is pretty spacious. The little side ones behind the mesh are roomier than I would have guessed. The pocket on the back padding is plenty big. The top compartment on the lid has allot of space and OK insulation, although thinner than the main compartment. Speaking of the main compartment, don't fall in. That is simply cavernous. The measurements in the pictures don't do it justice. And the liner is nice and I feel that the insulation is good. At least it feels good.Overall nice build quality and features. I'm pretty impressed with it so far.I don't think I want to carry it fully loaded with 50 cans like the description claims, just because that's allot of weight, for my back and any stitching. It may hold it, but for that kind of load I would prefer a hard cooler, maybe with wheels. Still, for more reasonable and realistic loads this backpack will be great.Fits my needs very well. Worth the reasonable price.Happy with it.

I purchased the 50 can size version and it is a great size. It is the size of a normal size backpack. Unless you are using it only for cans it has plenty of space for cans and snacks. It has five extra pockets, two on the side for smaller items. A larger pocket in the front and a smaller pocket on the lower back that rests on your back if you carry it like a normal sized backpack. It also has a medium size pocket on top. The arm straps have a clip that keep the straps linked across your torso so that the backpack doesn't slide off. The clip also has a whistle integrated to the clip as well. And the right shoulder strap has an attached bottle opener. The material inside the main pocket of the bag is waterproof and is designed like a plastic bag so that it is easier to clean and remove melted ice. I am very pleased with my purchase and will definitely recommend this brand and design. The material is of great quality and aside from knowing that it is a cooler. Anyone that looks at it at first glance will think it is just a normal size book bag.
