I like these tie downs. They are heavy duty make of a high gauge steel. The rings must have been punched and not bent from large gauge wire. Not welded. The holding strap is heavy gauge. The issue is that the holes on the strap are a good size to accommodate the screw size I would want on these but the screws provided are at least one size too small. Two sizes up might be best. If you do use the provided screws a good heavy duty flat plate washer should be used that is sized for the screws. I'm going to go with larger screws and might add a flat and locking washers. Recommended though for quality and strength.

Installed these tie downs on my boat trailer frame for straps to go through to anchor my boat cover. Used metal self tapping screws instead of the ones that came with them. Stainless Steel so won't rust, heavy duty, and price for 8 was a good buy. Happy with the results.

These were hard to find locally but Amazon no problem. Was looking for light tie downs for my wood decked utility trailer. I look for stainless steel absolutely all the time. Really is lasts forever and always looks good. These are light duty but plenty strong enough to tie down my z-turn mower or aerators. I usually tie 2-4 ratchet straps per machine. I mean definitely 4. (DOT listening) I would probably go heavier if I was tying down a skid steer or heavy tractor. Hope this helps.

I would buy them again for my needs and expectations. It is not a bad product at all.
