Have stitch dictionaries is always good to have and while many could be found online I do so like having books around for the visual reminder. Some of these are stitches found in other dictionaries I own, stitches I never thought to use for squares so the inspiration is a plus.Colourful catalogue of ideas for me as I venture into blanket knitting but I am sure I will be pulling this book out for more than blanket inspiration.

This is a fun book for knitters. The blocks are graded for difficulty. I am using a different brand of yarn and it is working fine. I had friends pick different color yarns and I matched them with different patterns. I will put them all together for a blanket. I love the diversity of stitches.

If you love to experiment with design and want to be challenged, this book is a must! Easy to read instructions and photos to help along the way!

I love this book. The squares are beautiful but most are quite advanced. I am a beginner so will have to work up to these but some of the first ones might be possible soon. You need to be able to cable knit for quite a lot of the squares and also the lace section looks nice. Aspiring to both. The charts take a bit of getting your head round but finally the penny dropped lol. Advanced knitters go to ideas for lovely blankets. Thankfully I can sew so should find joining the squares ok but a section in there to help others would be useful. Wonky joins a good blanket do not make and I did think in the blanket pics the sewing was at times a bit wonky…no offence to sewer. Took book to knit and natter and advanced knitters loved it and are putting it on their Christmas list. means they can help me when I get stuck. Great.
