I have two areas where we plug in vacuums, laptop chargers and a lot of temporary items. This is the third plug I have put in this location in 22 years. I wanted a strong plug with some grip so the plugs weren't always falling out or getting loose. I put the next step down from this grade plug in my kitchen island remodel and they get plugged in and unplugged 3 or 4 times a day. 5 yrs later still tight. So this is the next level up. It is hospital rated. More grip, wider contact area to reduce heat and the danger of arcing. Don't want a respirator plug falling out because the outlet was weak and no sparks near pure oxygen. These hold on and don't come out without pulling on the plug. Great and safe.

Realmente es un producto muy bueno, es un contacto dúplex polarizado grado hospitalario que utilice en la lavandería, para conectar una lavadora en la cual tenía el problema que cada determinado tiempo tenía que sustituir el contacto porque se quemaba este, por sobrecalentamiento. Decidí cambiarlo por este y perfecto, problema resuelto, ya tengo como 4 meses usándolo y ya no tengo este problema. Nota es muy importante realizar la conexión firme y bien hecha en el enchufe, en mi caso de la lavadora hacia el contacto dúplex utilizando también un contacto de uso rudo y el cable también. Ampliamente recomendado, solamente que viene sin tapa, se agradecería si se incluyeran una.

Terrible, mandan lo que se les antoja. Modelos diferentes, reetiquetados y en 2 colores, cuando claramente, hasta en las opciones, elijes el color "deseado". Lo puedes esperar de un "tercero" pero se compró directamente a AMZON USA. Ahora a devolver todos los contactos y a perder tiempo.

llego la pieza correca, el empacado da la impresion de que fue sacado de una caja de mayoreo , solo llego con una pequeña instruccion y descripcion del articulo

Used several of these to build a custom power strip for my hifi stereo setup.Very pleased with their performance (which is really just a tighter grip on the plugs).

I bought these to use when running dedicated circuits for my stereo. I couldn't imagine spending $100 or more for "audio grade" receptacles so i went with the Levitons and have no complaints. Of course hey aren't going work miracles for any stereo but i doubt the expensive ones will either. At the price these would be hard to beat regardless of what you intend to plug into them. They have a nice sturdy feel during installation where I usually feel like I might break a standard receptacle. Also with standard outlets the heavy power cables tent to sag. These hold them in place perfectly and I never worry about loose connections.
