Old 4-speed switch works fine but is very loud "snapping" between settings. New one is very quiet both switching on/off and changing speeds. New one also has some neat LEDs and allows fine adjustment of speeds, although the difference between speeds 3 & 4 (max) is almost negligible. Oh, and the old switch doesn't need a neutral wire connection, New one does, so be sure you have a neutral (white wire) in your box. Didn't try the Bluetooth connection so can't comment on that feature.

I purchased this switch in order to control the speed of a quiet cool whole house fan. I did some research and found this switch would work great for what I’m looking for. I installed it this morning and it did not work as planned. The fan turns on but it doesn’t slow the speed down. It just shuts it off. Now I’m stuck with this switch that I eventually need to find a replacement for. What a waste of my time and money.

Device keeps disconnecting and have to reset each time meaning i have to delete from app then add again. Do not buy. Waste of money.

Would not pair with my Nexus 6 phone. Haven't had time yet to attempt another phone or contact the manufacturer, but shouldn't have to. The phone"sees" it, but the app doesn't configure and there does not appear to be a way to configure "manually".
