First of all, the depth of this switch is less than most. By maybe a couple tenths of an inch probably. Next, they didn't make you wire nut to the switch. They provide holes in which you insert the stripped wire, and then you tighten screws to secure it. Similar to the GE/Jasco smart switches if you've ever used those. These are pretty basic items, but when you have a cramped multi-switch junction box, you may not have room for 4 extra wire nuts and a super-deep switch that protrudes way deep into the box.The LED brightness is adjustable. This thing just does everything it's supposed to and is implemented well. Five Stars!

APPLICATION: Replaced standard single pole switch for pantry light. Switch located in high traffic area outside of pantry, so less expensive occupancy switch was not an option.INSTALLATION: Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Installation required no special tools and took less than five minutes. Required minimal skills. Just be sure to shut off power at breaker before starting work.APPEARANCE: Attractive, modern appearance.EASE OF USE: Very easy to use and intuitive. Select time number of minutes once and saves the setting in memory until users selects a different time period. Indicator light makes verifying the selection at a glance simple.RELIABILITY: Going on six months and works fine. It is solid state technology so the unit will probably last for years to come.MISC. REMARKS: I know some reviewers complained about the installation process given that it takes a few seconds after installation for the unit to cycle (similar to bootup process). I found the installation very easy and my only recommendation is to read through ALL of the instructions BEFORE starting installation work. Then follow the instructions step-by-step and it will be an easy install.MATCHES DESCRIPTION - exactly as described.

It is not hard too install. But it takes a bit to setup the timer.. follow the instructions will be okay.

So far so good. Really like this countdown timer. Here are the things I like best:1) Smallest increment is just one minute. So, I don't have to have 5 or even 10 minutes as a minimum. Nice!2) Large button at top to turn on whatever the last countdown was, or turn off early. I like this at the top since it seems more intuitive to have the most important at the top.3) Selecting one of the time buttons selects that amount as the new countdown amount and also turns on the switch. But, if the last amount is what you want, you don't have to select the time first. Just push the large top button.4) Other time options are available in the the same format. So you can have consistent formatted switch with different available increments. For example, I have the 1-5-10-15-20-30Min version in the toilet room where I may only use the 1 minute increment, but have the 5-10-30-60 Min, 2-4 Hr version for exhaust fan outside shower where it is likely a longer period is desired for the moisture generated by the shower.

I have installed a lot of timer switches of all different brands and so far this one is my favorite. The clean looks and large buttons are nice to look at and intuitive to use. My only complaint is that the switch is quite a bit deeper than it needs to be, making it a challenge to install in older homes or if you are adding a new closet switch using a wiremold box. The body is quite deep and then the wires exit from the back so that your solid 12 or 14 gauge wires will need even more space to bend around. You might be able to mitigate this by using some needle nose pliers to carefully make a sharp bend in the wires right as they exit the switch. Apart from the unnecessary depth this is an outstanding timer switch.
